Lights to warm your soul, because the soup place was closed…

Oh boy. If only I had some soup…

Oh I know, I’ll go to a town built around the delicious soup industry. But wait! Not so fast you dummy. Remember 6000 years ago when God made the Earth and then took a day off? Well, every store in every small town sure does.

We made the fatal mistake of driving to Stratford (2022 update: I live here now) on a Sunday. I was promised soups. What I got were these amazing pictures and zero soup. These were taken in a coffee shop called Revel. LOOK AT THIS LIGHTING. It was phenomenal.

Warm lights inside with big ass windows and exposed brick. I think my beard got turned on a little bit. If quinoa was a person, and that person was a room, it would be this room. It was more hip than an orthopedic surgeon conveniently located near a retirement home.

Basically, just be open on Sundays so I can have cool pictures AND soup. Also, the beautiful lady featured in this gallery is the one who hyped up the soup for probably a month before we finally went.

There she is, peacefully sipping on her steaming mug of lies. Lies and matcha. With almond milk, the traitor’s milk. I have never been so betrayed, yet so okay with it. Cause I had a mocha and it was lovely, plus there was a comfy couch and again, just the best lighting imaginable.
